White pine has a very Piney, Earthy, Fresh Scent. The flavor of White Pine Tea is a very pleasant, mild flavor with a floral and piney essence. It is great served hot on it's own or brewed with other Herbs as an Herbal Blend. Add Sweetener or Lemon if desired. Pine Tea is also excellent served as an Iced Tea.
Brewing Instructions: Fresh Pine Needles can be chopped and put into a tea bag, or brewed whole. Use approx. 2 Tbsp. of Pine Needles per 8-oz Cup of tea - More if a stronger flavor is desired. Pour boiling water over Pine Needles and steep for 5-10 minutes.
Storage Instructions: Fresh Pine Needles for Tea are Technically Fresh Produce, so they need to be stored in a refrigerator for up to 7 days, or in a freezer for up to 6 months. To thaw, just rinse what you need under warm water and use immediately.
